Family Hawaiian Holiday and Maui Belly Dance Intensive
Joni!
We had an AMAZING time! Thanks so much for all your help! I can't
stop thinking about the trip! Thank you!
I have to admit Kauai was our favorite island. Absolutely beautiful.
We stayed there and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful scenery.
Maui was fabulous too! And the cottage was fantastic! We loved
it! It felt like our home away from home. While we were there we
did the bike tour down from the crater, I got to surf at Hookipa
beach, and we also did some other site seeing. Maui was beautiful
as well! And the fact that there were 70 belly dancers from around
the world was insane! The workshop was incredible!
I’m glad you enjoyed the show! It was nice to meet you!!!
Thanks again for everything!

Maui Family Holiday – Upcountry Bed & Breakfast
|
Dear Joni:
I just wanted to take this opportunity to express our thanks for
all of your great help in making out travel arrangements for our
vacation in your beautiful State.
Our travels, as well as our stay on the Islands of both Maui, and
Kona were absolutely wonderful and by far exceeded our expectations.
We were even fortunate enough to have caught two Blue Marlin during
our fishing trip at Kona.
Again, thank you for all of your fine help and we will not hesitate
to refer both you, and your agency to friends who are contemplating
future visits to your beautiful part of the world.
Sincerely, Jack & Jean

Holiday & Reunion to Maui, Kauai & Oahu from Fiji
|
Aloha Joni!
We're an hour out from leaving for the airport. Sitting in the
lobby of the
Waikiki Sheraton catching up after a nice dinner at Top of Waikiki
revolving
restaurant for our anniversary. Ended up staying up at Sunset Beach
with
Donna's friend Tracy & her kids. Was pretty cramped and we
ended up
getting a limo ride back into town as there were no vans!!
Yikes! Guess I didn't think that one thru.....oh well. Still had
a blast
swimming at Sunset with everyone yesterday but didn’t get
much work done with
more distractions....are there ever NO distractions?
Again, thank you for your great hospitality and we'll be back!
Would love
to go to that flea market again and especially the fabric store!!
Looking forward to getting home to Fiji and our "kids" tomorrow!!
Mahalo!

Annual Anniversary Trip to French Polynesia
Tikehau Pearl Resort & Le Taha’a Private Island & Spa
|
Hi Joni,
Our vacation this year was fantastic as usual. I had initial doubts
about flying Air Tahiti Nui but they turned out to be fine. Their
dinner
meals were great but their breakfasts left a lot to be desired.
The
level of service was very good. The local airline, Air Tahiti,
is well
run but their flight schedules are not visitor friendly and their
schedule can dictate the order in which you go places and at what
time
of day. Long layovers in Papeete are very possible between inter-island
flights. All transfers to and from resorts were expertly handled.
The Taha'a Pearl Beach Resort is first class in
every way. The food was world class, except for the eggs which
come from Papeete. Their Polynesian show is on Tuesday night and
was well done. Make reservations for the best tables. There
are a lot of things to do there and
the 4 wheel drive tour of the interior of the main island is not
to be missed. The view from the top of one of the largest hills
is magnificent. Purchasing the American Plan for meals is a must.
Drinks are very expensive. The staff is well trained. Our boat
was met by the Resort Manager and the check-in procedure is quick
and easy with no long forms to fill out.
We must have been in the best room in the resort.
Our overwater bungalow had a perfect view of Bora Bora. It rained
for half of one day while we were there. The more formal restaurant
is used for breakfast and dinner and the poolside restaurant is
used for lunch. The resort has a webcam that takes a picture of
the pool area every hour on the hour and our friends were able
to see us standing by the pool.
The Tikehau airport is rather small
but adequate. The Tikehau Pearl Beach Resort is
a cut below Taha'a but I still enjoyed it immensely. It
is a place where you can truly relax. We were the only Americans at
the resort during our entire stay and this seems to be the norm.
Mostly French and Italian honeymooners frequent it. Our four days
at the resort produced the best weather we have ever had in the
South Pacific. The skies were very blue in the daytime with no
hint of the whiteness that you see in the States and the night
sky was so black I thought I was out in space. I always go to the
South Pacific during the dark of the moon. The night sky is always
spectacular and I love to see the Southern Cross every
night. From Tahiti the city lights so wash out the sky that it
is barely visible. I took my telescope along as usual and was
able to collect 220 new objects that I had not seen before in
the southern sky.
The food was again fantastic and the presentation made it look
like it was right out of Gourmet Magazine. I gained five pounds
on this vacation. The French really know how to make bread and
pastries. The activities at Tikehau are limited but it is very
nice to just lay around and do nothing at all.
You can take a boat
trip to the village and hire bikes for a self guided tour, take
a picnic on Bird Island and of course there is always snorkeling
and scuba diving. French is the chief language used at both resorts
but English is certainly understood as well as German and Italian.
There was a very small language problem when speaking to the native
help at both resorts but it was insignificant. The French managers
and staff spoke English well. Both staffs were very friendly and
anxious to please. The female bartender at the Tikehau had something
very interesting to say, "I like Americans because they
are kind."
Thanks again Joni,
Bob & Annita T.

Family Maui Wedding – Maui Prince Hotel
|
Joni - Aloha
My trip was very successful, you did a fantastic job of planning,
coordinating, and making it all go smoothly. I am especially grateful
since I was traveling alone, and not that experienced. You made
all information clear and precise, all highlighted and outlined
- just great.
My niece's wedding was simply beautiful, all the more meaningful
to me, because my dear sister (and Mother of the Bride) who has
lived on Maui for many years is recovering from a serious auto
accident. It meant so much to me to be with her during this big
event.
My sister was given a pass from her rehab facility in Kahului
to spend two nights at the Maui Prince for the wedding, along with
her husband and father of the bride. The hotel was lovely, great
service, wonderful staff, and fantastic setting, AND I was a few
doors away from my sister. I never imagined how beautiful Maui
could be. I'm so glad I got to see it for myself.
I cannot thank you enough.
Aloha and Mahalo
Anne
P.S. I enjoyed a lovely room service breakfast today with the
voucher you included. The upgraded room was beautiful!

Fiji Honeymoon – Matamanoa Island Resort
|
Hi Joni!
Yes, we are home, safe - very well rested and in love with Fiji.
Despite the early hurdle, the trip was well worth it, we
really loved Matamanoa, very good spot for a honeymoon and first time
visit. We are sorry we did not meet you the week of, things were
much more hectic than we had expected. We are planning to come
through Maui to see Serena's parents in the next few months,
so we'll make it a point of stopping in to say hello - then. I've
attached a pretty funny picture of the 2 of us, poolside in Matamanoa,
just our feet... hope you laugh and enjoy. We'll send some of
our
wedding, when we get them in! Thank you so much again for organizing this trip, helping our
guests out, etc. We'll definitely use your services again.
Thanks
Scott & Serena B.
