Qamea Honeymoons: Qamea offers the perfect setting for your Fiji honeymoon. The romantic and elegant beachfront bures all strategically positioned for maximum privacy, feature great views of the ocean and the long white sand beach that will take your breath away. With the Island being limited to the amount of guests that it accomodates as well as the minimum age limit there could not be a better place to enjoy the beginning of your new life together.

While on your honeymoon you will be welcomed with a complimentary chilled bottle of champagne and invited for a free massage. We will also encourage you to take advantage of a private picnic lunch on Honeymoon Beach during your stay.

Qamea weddings: Fiji beach weddings are usually held in the beachfront gardens in the late afternoon facing the west and the sunset. Before your wedding you will be dressed in traditional Fijian Tapa cloth attire topped with floral salusalu (lei).

The service is held with the local Minister or Priest presiding and with our staff joining in with the singing of traditional Fijian wedding songs. The service is conducted in English. The registrar is then signed and witnessed and you will be toasted with champagne. A traditional Fiji style reception follows.

Quamea Activities: Guests can avail themselves of a wide range of complimentary activities including incredible snorkeling, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, sea canoeing, hiking, croquet, visiting one of the local villages and lots more. Diving in Fiji is the ultimate divers treat and Qamea's diving is world renowned, and with a fully equipped and new dive facility Quamea's diving staff can introduce you to an underwater adventure you will long remember.

Accomodations: Qamea's authentic thatched roof bures were designed and built in traditional Fijian style, with soaring 20 foot ceilings and hand polished local mahogany hardwood floors. All are spacious with over 600 square feet, have air conditioning, fully stocked mini bars, tea and coffee making facilities, ceiling fans, comfortable beds, separate sitting area, and antique Fijian art collected by the owners from neighboring villages and islands. Our bures have large covered decks with comfortable furniture and hammock, and dramatic and unobstructed views of the ocean and sunsets.

A kava ceremony is celebrated with the guests (This is a ceremony drinking the local liquor, a non-alhoholic drink made of pepper bush roots) Dancer's come in a group to perform traditional dances and songs for the guests. Food is prepared in the Fijian way and there is a Fijian feast for dinner. Some of the food is cooked under the ground.
